Looks like things will be getting...dare I say... hot and heavy under that coat in more ways than one....

It'll be a hot time in ye olde trenchcoat tonight! Rawr.
Well, the queen thing explains things perfectly. The Vryko's had absolutely no real reason to terminate the Lysinda circle, which kept the Strakoi out of the americas.
These were not predicted and answer all my questions!*
*other than how the queen got kidnapped, if the Strakoi aren't allowed in. Tertiary party, I suppose. Or European vacation gone all wrong? lol

That explains what Dr. V said a bit better and also explain why Urja is being held responsible. Plus, while it doesn't retcon Philinnon's stupid vendetta against Sam, it at least explains why they want all Vorpyr dead now. Just assumed all Vryko's are in the americas, just like Strakoi are in Europe (and maybe surrounding areas). Though I suppose Riff was hunting vampires up in the arctic for years with Sasha... oh well! Wait and see.

These were not predicted and answer all my questions! They did have one reason, they might have wanted the Americas for themselves. Their territory is part of Europe while the Lysinda Circle got the Americas. Even though we have seen some Vrykolakas in the Americas, that might have been a restricted number at Lysinda's discretion. With the Lysinda Circle gone they can expand and feast.

It's always about the girl. Riff really can't help himself - even when he tries to put on a facade of being the cold, calculating, gritty antihero, he's got that big, fluffy heart that makes him do the stupidest things.
If DoR Riff were watching, he'd be facepalming right now. And his Izzy would be smiling.
