Yeah, that's why I never really got Riff's logic. Torg knows as well as anyone, even if he had blinders on when it came to what Sam was capable of.

Well, this is going to be a waste of time. Torg will listen to her story, but he'll ignore everything.

Subordinates are to be seen, not heard.

I didn't know if it would be considered spec or not, so I posted it in the 'what will happen next' thread. But I just posted a brief psychoanalysis of Torg on there, with his likely thoughts on Riff and Sam, lol. Top of the page.

In hindsight, I don't really think it qualifies as spec so it could've gone here.

He knows what Sam is capable of, but does he know what Urja is capable of? Even lysinda had a certain moral code she followed.

Strangely, I have no inclination to "cuddle" Bun=Bun.

So yeah, I think Izzy's little "lesson" here isn't going to be the eye-opener she thinks it is. It just serves as a reminder that people constantly underestimate Torg, especially his emotional maturity.
That is, unless she knows some bombshell about Riff that Torg wasn't aware of...

Oh Izzy. I feel the exact same way about Bun Bun...

Yeah suuuure Izzy, talk about monsters to a guy who has been to Hell, been to the Dimension of Pain, fought armies of demons, faced off K'Z'K, summonded Satan, faced off K.I.T.T.E.N.S and hordes of zombies,vampires and the undead and has a pet Minilop who is a God of punching people.

Let alone a sword of unholy carnage.

Or knows Gwynn.

And lets not mention a potentially immortal assassin who can set anything on fire.

And that's just off the top of my head!

On the other hand, it all pretty much works out for Torg in the end every time. He lost alternate-dimension Zoe and took it pretty hard, but ultimately everyone he cares about in the real dimension has managed to survive everything anybody but Torg himself threw at them. I'm just saying his perception of "monsters" might be a little lopsided compared to Izzy, who has literally lost everyone so far to them.

I don't think that's from up-closeness. I think today's close-up of Izzy was not Pete's best work. I thought she was pretty attractive, when she wasn't totally drugged-out in 4U. She's just having the cartoon equivalent of a bad-hair day.

Unlike a bad-hare day, if she tried to cuddle Bun-Bun.
