Nice! So we're getting confirmation on how/why vamp queenie died? I cannot wait to see how this is going to affect the R&D Wars. And by affect I mean make worse.

Well, it does seem that right now there are the equivalent of vampire nations and/or races at each others' throats. And some of those races seem to be intent on wiping each other off the map entirely. That kind of genocidal activity is pretty world war-like. If the conflict escalates at all beyond that, or if it successfully wipes any or multiple vampire races out completely, that might qualify.

I looked up earlier images of Philinnon, Urja, even Hélène, and I don't see anyone who wore a jewelled headpiece like that. So I'm not sure whose dust that is, OR who is talking...

Holy crap. More characters? Or is this Urja? At first I thought the tiara was some bizarre squishy creature in a pocket dimension. Lord Golbez wrote: Indeed it is. No. No more! To me, the vampire society stuff has been some of the weaker of the Stories that have gone on in Sluggy. That and Years of Yarncraft, just because there's so much other WoW comics out there.
And I agree that the "Vampire Wars are bigger than the Human's World Wars" is a bunch of hyperbole.
Well I guess its time to skip Sluggy for another few weeks?

Here's where Pete finally ties in the new vampire stuff with Mohkadun. I mean, what other pyramids do we know?
Been waiting since the introduction of Urja for this.

I zeroed right in on the face and saw it as a strange alien-like blob-creature sitting on a cloud and thought "WHOA! WHAT THE? THIS JUST GOT AWESOME!"
