Looks like the Strakoistrat have one up on SEELE...
(I kinda like the way the eyes on top of each throne appear to parallel the occupant's attention, or lack thereof)

Urja seems to have learned some important Strakoi facts a little late.

This confirms what we all knew, to a point where it didn't even qualify as spec, Urja is indeed alive. Something we were only 99.99999999999999% sure of before.

I think the important question now is where she is. And how many of her underlings survived her.... And where the vamps fit in the R&D wars.... And if Torg and Riff will go back to being BFF...... And if Sam is really dead in an absolutely permanent way.... And if Pete is going to have a mental breakdown trying to get us all the information we need while we whine at him endlessly for more answers.... So many questions!

It appears I've been using the word strakoistrat incorrectly, it only refers to the leadership. as in: The strakoistrat were apparently watching when hereticorp attacked vistuvious: http://www.sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20151125Probably unimportant, we assume that he contacted them about it anyway.

Well, that's a well-drawn exposition.

Well, the strakoistrat probably know that Schlock's "magic" is stronger than their own. If they tried to replicate it they'd probably just end up in timeless space.

FWIW, I preferred the "council of creepy old men spying on Urja" image over the "weird talking plague mask" image, but ohwell.

I think adding plague-masks to the original image would be the best retcon.
