The strakoi seem to possess all the dignity of a pack of teenagers trying to be cool.

Though their masks have been retconned I like how one guy has a checkered grid on his mask.

That's it, I'll have to reread the Circle to remind myself of all the vampires. The problem with Sluggy sometimes is that so much happens that when you read the strip day in day out the twist and turns that concern some piece of information that was given three months ago go over your head. When this storyline started expanding more and more I got a bit annoyed, Carib-level. But as Pete builds the vampire lore and does his weird horror thing the vampires start... growing on me. Expect Sam. I can't stand Sam.

Okay, this is probably the wrong reaction, but I am so rooting for the Strakoi to win.

In the Sluggy movie, the Strakoi would definitely be played by Muppets.

My biggest laugh in a long time in this strip was the guy trying to step foot on the east coast.

Pete has taken vistuvius' annoying accent, created an entire race of vampires with that same annoying accent, and then elevated it to high humor in a way that makes me beg for more.
Good job pete!
