If you divide Monday by 66 6f 72 74 79 20 74 77 6f you get 74 68 61 6e 6b 73 20 66 6f 72 20 61 6c 6c 20 74 68 65 20 66 69 73 68. Strange... Need to check my book. ----- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote EACH day Sat=[#53 -0 *1689] Sun=[#51 +2 *1729] Mon=[#85 -- *41]

Oh damn! I can genuinely say I didn't see Urja reviving them and going subservient! Considering how badly the Vrykos wanted Sam dead and how their psychic link worked, I figured Urja would have been driven mad over the choices she was left with and done... well, not this, that's for sure! What the hell?

Interesting choice. Now we have a vampire faction led by Sam and Sylvia. I can't wait to see how this plays out. I can't see Sam holding a grudge. OTOH, I see Sylvia holding them for centuries. Any more than that belongs in the spec forum.

"I'm not the fugitive! The Fugitive was a movie with Han Solo. And before that it was a TV show." The Sam Cirkail Mamajama finally has more than one member!

No Sylvia, it clearly is easily forgotten. Just follow Sam's example!

Also, gotta say: Really loving Sam's facial expressions in today's comics. Bang on.

I wonder what Sam thinks about Riff and Torg at this point. It looks like Urja told them about what happened, and they know the gang placed them in the saferoom to "save" them. Either way, I agree with Lord Golbez about Sylvia. And what's up with her neck? Did she sew it up, or is she just wearing a ridiculous collar?

As he always says, "Riff pulls this kinda crap all the time". He's too dumb and sweet to hold a grudge, after a short mandatory feud. That's just an fashionable old timey collar that upper class used to wear.

Interesting. I would have assumed she would post herself as more of an equal than a servant, but I guess if you spend long enough thinking of yourself as a servant of a greater power...
Sam holding a grudge would be a first, so I doubt it. They should all be concerned with the Strakoi more than anything else, anyway.

Well, I had not meant it to be 'spec' when I posted it last Thursday, but Pete has clearly established Urja as a "beta". And she is clearly happier that way - as she has created another situation for her be one again. But that doesn't mean that her 'chase' of Izzy is over - the more power she has, the more successful "beta" she can be - and that is the way that she likes it. Although I wonder how long it will take her to figure out that being 'beta' to Sam is not such a good idea.... I wonder how much time has passed? They not only look fully recovered, they also appear to be well fed - all of them. And I concur with all the others that Pete is cranking it on the art work - although he often does. It's just one of the many reasons I keep coming back. Oooh! Shiny! Edit: Oooh, shiny, indeed... Is that spider (panel 1) someone we know?
