Nevermind what I said about the last strip. I guess Urja is just an idiot.

Urja is at once so smart and yet so dumb.

That's more like it. Although I would have preferred if she just stuck the stake in all the way and traded the broom closet for the heather fields.

Sylvia does not recognize the greatness that is Sam.

Urja is not stupid. But her deduction is based upon her assuming that Sam isn't an idiot with phenomenal luck. Otherwise she would not of used the word "outmaneuver" to describe his ability.

So, Sampire is to be the new Dracula. Yeah, no way Drakku is not this world's Dracula. I approve of this turn of events.

I guess the past six months has just been one long setup to the Sampire Nation.

How has Sam outmaneuvered the Strakoistrat?
I had forgotten Urja's state of undress until the last panel. But she can't blame Sam for looking. There are perky perks to being a vampire, as we know. Likewise Sam's physique must have improved when he was embraced.

They wanted all of the Lysinda circle dead, including Sam, so that they could freely enter the New World. With only one agent (Dr. Vistuvius) allowed to operate there, they weren't able to go after him on their own with a reasonable chance of success.

The shape of Sam's head has been looking funny.
Still, this has been getting good.

Kesandru wrote: Nevermind what I said about the last strip. I guess Urja is just an idiot. Yeah... Urja's sudden turn makes no sense and the rationale she gives Sylvia is pretty hard to swallow. Character motivations in general throughout most of this storyline have been difficult to get behind.

That's what I mean, but I guess that was worded a bit ambiguously. He hasn't evaded them at all. They never came after him. Lol. Oh well. Go Sampire, go!
