Yay Leah!
I can't decide if I DO or DON'T want to know what Vegan Baseball is...

Leah? Wasn't she newborn just a while ago? Oh, how time flies!
"Poisonous Snakes And Cobras" is only mildly more obvious than "Slytherin".

I looked up Kasich's Wikipedia page, and it appears that neither his wife nor either of his daughters is named Justine. So is the name just a coincidence, or is this some super-subtle kind of political humor that only a teenager can understand?

Awwwww, this is wonderful Leah! I'm so glad that you're becoming a wonderful artist like your father, but be sure to pay more attention to school than us! A lovely job, dearie!

If she were a he then they probably would have gone with Justin Kaich. Dodger77 wrote: I can't decide if I DO or DON'T want to know what Vega Baseball is... You missed an N it's Vegan Baseball. Edited to add, All hail Leah, the new Sluggy Overlady.

Real nice to see Leah art again in Sluggy, even if it reminds me how many years have passed since I joined the Sluggy cult.
Anyway, I would not trust free cupcakes from Culinary kids.

Oh, wow. This is Leah's art?
I was following this strip when Leah was born. Now I have two kids of my own and I'm still following this epic story. [father time emoji] Thanks for everything so far, Pete. Really looking forward to see how you wrap it all up.
Leah, your pencils are very expressive! Great to see your work again!

Wow, jeez, that girl is HOW OLD again? And she has some great drawing talent. Man I'm jealous. Those faces have character, the proportions are correct and pretty consistent. She's using camera angles (don't know what term to use when there is no literal camera) that are not flat. Each character has a bit of personality to their pose. And judging from the details in the pencil sketch, it looks like she didn't spend a lot of time re-working everything to get them that way. I struggle with literally ALL of those things when making comics!
Man I'm jealous.
