And friends, since we all know they will become enemies eventually. Though... enemies do become friends sometimes. So... Just crush her friends then, because her enemies will become her friends... But then you would have to crush them due to... Um, I'm confused. ----- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote EACH day Wed=[*57 +1 *575] Thu=[*54 +3 *638]

I don't post here often, and I was really looking forward to seeing what Leah would come up with. I was going to post at the end of the week, but I couldn't hold back after that setup. Loved it!
Pete, go ahead and retire... Leah's got us covered.

At first I thought his hands were on fire, a la magic/superpowers.

I read somewhere that there was once a proposal to dig long ditches in Sahara in the shape of a right-angled triangle, fill them with something combustible and set it all on fire, forming a giant triangle of light that could be seen with telescopes from Mars, to let the Martians know that there are intelligent people on Earth. That would be one way of demonstrating [knowledge of] the Pythagorean theorem with fire.

That was a good punchline. Celadon wrote: I think the talk bubbles for panel 2 are reversed? I have to agree.
