As for today's trip, my thoughts: - We never did get an answer to Bun-bun's question of where Oasis keeps her knives - It's nice to see Oasis in that elegant outfit but I suppose she really is overdressed for a fight - Kitty likely is underestimating Oasis but the reverse might also be true (umm, is thus considered spec?) - No doubt Pete has a few surprises is store for this week and I can't wait to see what happens next

I guess we're going to see how much banter this version of Oasis uses, and if so, whether she's gotten any good at it yet.

Kitty is definitely underestimating Oasis, because considering she doesn't know who she is - and she doesn't seem to - there are at least two relevant things we know about Oasis that Kitty doesn't know. She may be underestimating other things about Oasis as well though, including considerable physical strength that belies her size.

Well, we have seen Oasis fight, so saying that Kitty is underestimating her is not really that debatable I think. Kitty thinks that because she is so freakishly strong, that this is not really a fight she has to worry about since she has probably easily won every time. slightlylooney wrote: Zillatain wrote: ... @Zillatain Yes, just a bit. But you do have some important tree murder to deal with. (Idea: buy Oots in hardcover. More dead trees!) It's like Jack Handy used to say: "Would we cut down trees if they could scream? We might, if they screamed all the time, for no reason."  I think Kitten's biggest advantage here is that she's Mr. Needles' second in command. Traditionally, those have some plot shielding to keep them alive a bit longer than your average mook. And Mook lasted for several strips. LB
