Monday is annoyed with places that have security systems that are cell based as opposed to landline based. The cables to a cell tower are much harder to cut (and farther away) than the wires on your home. Why do you make it so hard to rob your place when you're not there? ----- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote EACH day. So she's starting to work through it, but it looks like some things are harder than others...

She knew Dr. Steve brainwashed her for Override B-1, but not for Torg? Yowch.

I like the perception explanation. *thumbs up*
I guess this is really the first time she actually considered the love to be potential brainwashing. Katie didn't directly say it, so I'd guess this is a self-realization. Whether she believes herself is another story completely though.
Too bad she has the emotional capacity of a peanut. Maybe it'll grow to the size of a walnut today.

Katie has no clue how extremely dangerous Oasis is. But it appears she may be starting to partial understand.
The best type of brainwashing is when the subject won't believe it even when shown evidence. Though, brainwashing may not be the correct term for what happened to her in regards to Torg. Something much more complex may have happened.

It started with an innocent brainwashing, but it turned into genuine love by the end! AWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

Still in complete denial about Torg. Nothing new there really.

Oasis looks like a zombie in the last panel.

Either that she was brainwashed into loving Torg, or that Torg thinks she's a crazy-psycho-bitch and is just lying to her to protect his actual girlfriend. Here's a better strategy Torg: try to get her arrested for the House of Cheese murders.

Uh, I guess I did miss Pete's last reference. What am I supposed to be getting from panel 2 in the last ref link? That she realizes she comes back to life?

Oh Oasis. :( I never realized she actually felt guilt for the people she killed (provided they are innocent) - GRANTED i'm glad she does! Also now I feel guilty for laughing at last weeks comic where the little oasis is stabbing the HC logo! Also this comic makes me think of this one: http://www.sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20060905. Oh Oasis somewhere you've known all along you were programmed to love Torg :(
