Friday went on a very long walk The sun was low then high then gone Moonlight bathed the irregular trail The path was smooth then coarse then grass Friday continued on its unending stroll The hunger was sharp then painful then none Wind started to tug insistently at its clothing The weather was gales then rain then storm Friday had been stopped in its tracks The cyclone was far then close then here Phase one was done now on to two The flying was fear then excitement then understanding ----- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Well, duh.
I wonder what would happen if Riff and Schlock got thrown in a room together and Riff just told Schlock about the DoR. (and yes, this is an actual reaction to today's strip... and pretty much the last week.)

As for the actual conversation.....

Look in Dangerous Days Ahead. I know one instance is in that arc.

Well, saw this coming. Predicted this would be Riff yesterday. Just wasn't expecting it to go off so well.

Is it just me, or does it seem like Schlock is missing a word balloon in panel 3?

Oh, Doctor Schlock. You used to LIVE with Riff. How can you be so un-good?

So much for "top-secret" satellite.
Now I wonder how they saw all those tiny pieces. Off to SRC for a guess at what's really going on here.

Congratulations, Riff. By blowing up the Flux-Nut-1, you just ensured that humanity will never be able to go to space again for hundreds or even thousands of years. How does it feel?

If Riff told Schlock he was going to destroy the world, and end up a recluse in a city-controller pod, maybe he could convince Schlock to drop the DFA satellite work. Maybe. Especially if he added "or I'll keep blowing up all your satellites, and maybe you !!"

Schlock's face seems like he's saying something, instead of just dumbfounded. I imagine it might go more smoothly with something like this: Schlock: "The satellite is being hacked?" Operator: "YES! Someone on site opened a backdoor!" Schlock: "Trace it!" Operator: "We're trying!" On another note, I find it really funny that blowing something up, especially blowing it up really thoroughly, automatically means Riff. Not any of the other powers or countries that likely don't appreciate the satellite or hC's takeover of NASA, but the awesome explosion means it must be Riff.
