I love this particular strip. I especially love the varied emotions that Oasis shows throughout: the "how have you been" expression, guilt at making Torg wait, exasperation at Mort on the train and then the wariness at the end when she tells Torg that they are not alone.

Like others, I'm a bit surprised that Oasis likes trains given what happened on her last two trips (that we know of).

Now I'll be compulsive (and probably boring):



Oasis was actually cutting herself, which is not healthy behaviour but that's another discussion entirely.



We have seen Oasis drive.



For a somewhat generous interpretation of the word "casual":
- When they first met.
- When she was pretending to help him escape from Dr Steve.
- Their arrival at the Pocono resort might qualify.
- As could this part of the conversation at Le Snootier.
(Incidentally, this might the only time Oasis and Sasha agreed on anything.)
- Torg proposing to Oasis might or might not qualify.

As an aside, I think the biggest mystery remaining in Sluggy is Where did Oasis find a ferret-sized dress?

(You probably can see I have a strange fondness for Oasis. And am somewhat mad.)

Okay, first, the train throwback is hilarious -- and it also shows her growth since then. Second, oh my goodness -- that face in the second panel? My heart just breaks.

And oh, now what?

Ya, now what. After Torg called to her as "my love," she is NOT going to respond well when she finds out Torg and Zoë ARE an item now.

But yeah. That face. And then Torg yells at her, the jerk...

Well THIS is getting interesting. Oasis looks heartbreakingly cute in panel 2...

AAAND then begins to get Killy. That didn't take long. :D.

Also just realized I've been a member here longer than Pete. Muahaha!!

I'm curious about the inclusion of the comic book. "Friends No More" indeed...

I was making mid-terms this week and couldn't take the cliff hanger, so I decided to wait and catch up later the week.

Her face is so sweet--and it looks like an honest sweetness, not the giddy-girl sweetness.
