Monday was crawling through the desert and slowly dying of thirst. Then it came across an Oasis of roiling water in the sand. edit: Huh I always thought the scene with "Death" in Fire & Rain was on a bus not a train. And I thought Oasis killed her as well.

Ugh, the horror of public transportation. Trains are mostly all right, just loud people, but subway is the worst. You have to go early in the morning or around seven in the evening to avoid all the freaks.
Just this morning, starting three hours ago, I went by subway and then was going on an intercity bus, which however didn't show up due to the bus company messing up the schedule. So I had to buy a train ticket and they'll reimburse me. But that means I have to send an email and convince the people on the other end that I was told I would be reimbursed - maybe I'll just skip the whole thing. Anyway, how nice to start the day with an epic comic moment after all that - Oasis and Torg meeting again. And my sympathy for Oasis is raised after she tells us she had to endure a train ride.
Does she know how to drive a car, by the way? I don't think we have ever seen her drive.
So the first time we see her on a train she meets "Death," and now it's Mort the Ripper. So funny. AND he has to talk about his convention, of course of course. She just cannot catch a break.

I want it to be 3, but I'm expecting something else... I think there are some obvious choices which arguably fit into none of these categories, but if I'm limited to these choices, Torg faction seems closest.

Woah... have we EVER seen a casual conversation between Torg and Oasis before? I can only remember Oasis as either pissed off, or insane+possessive with Torg trying to talk her out of something. And of cause their "in the middle of a deadly battle"-talk.

Pete, you got your reflink wrong. Torg's last face-to-face encounter with Oasis was in Dangerous Days Ahead, not Fire and Rain.
