Monday wants to show you a magic trick, but it can't find what it made disappear.

Well, this is going about as badly as it possibly could. Barring Oasis spontaneously combusting herself.

You serious? She can have SEIZURES when she uses pyrokinesis? That's like the worst possible outcome! How come that's never happened before?

just because we've not seen it doesn't mean it's not been happening all this time.

I think it has something to do with the head wound that made her such a chatty Cathy at the Zalias's.

Just to be clear, this is a thing linked to epilepsy.

I'm gonna go with other people pissed her off enough to start the fire.
However, Torg actively rejecting her is much more straining than anything else before.

...... It's a good thing she has a warranty card. One new Oasis, coming right up!

I still wish it was a personal development thing and not linked to head trauma (or the Flintstones effect).

Can't argue with the science though!

I wonder why Torg wants the fire when knives always seem to be enough before anyway. There's lots of ways to make fire, but only one crazy hot gymnast assassin!

It might have to do with Riff's bots being knife-proof, whereas it wasn't fire-proof.
And remember who riffed Riff's robot designs?
That's right, dr. Schlock AKA Hereti-Corp CEO.

And btw. what is the Flintstones effect? Google only show up discussions on how to spell Flin(t)stones, and something about puns instead of plot development.

I wouldn't assume head trauma is the reason. She's had the same expression both times we've seen her use her power.

Until Pete says otherwise, I'm going to assume this was always a problem. I mean, it's always been portrayed to be out of control. She didn't just torch Bun-Bun but the entire room. The Riff fire was super intense and she passed out after. We'll see, I guess.

The blood on her arms and legs from struggling with the chains. Nice touch, Pete!

Someone had better stop her before her head gets even bigger.

We didn't see her when she was doin' "the Fire" in the Poconos, but immediately afterwards she was ducking Gwynn's wood-bombardment and throwing a hail of knives. So if she went into seizures then, she snapped out of it quick-smart.

Yikes, Torg, there were some gaps in your preparedness! I keep having to remind myself that Torg is less in the know than we are.

I hope it's not a seizure because they are not fun whatever the cause...
So you are aware, this is what you should do (copied from https://www.cdc.gov/epilepsy/basics/first-aid.htm )

Ease the person to the floor.
Turn the person gently onto one side. This will help the person breathe.
Clear the area around the person of anything hard or sharp. This can prevent injury.
Put something soft and flat, like a folded jacket, under his or her head.
Remove eyeglasses.
Loosen ties or anything around the neck that may make it hard to breathe.
Time the seizure. Call 911 if the seizure lasts longer than 5 minutes.

Somehow, I don't think Torg will be able to do any of this :(
