I don't buy any of this innocence stuff now.
"I was after her and you got in my way".
I don't get it.

I don't get it. My interpretation is that it all stems from the fact that everything she does is because of Dr. Steve's programming. The fact hat she's a Yandere Killing Machine is because she was essentially wired to be such, with no base input on it. Whether that's true or not...well that's for the spec forum, methinks. gracesonnet wrote: Just when I think I can't love Aylee any more than I already do Love her. Terrified of her, but love her.

Also - is this a passive agressive girl fight, or just an agressive agressive one? For normal people this would just be plain aggressive, but considering who we're dealing with and the fact that they're not actually using violence, I would call it passive aggressive for them.

All the eggs are gone and used up now, lol.

Not sure why Aylee's physiology would even regard DFA blasts as a threat to counter. It just takes her to a new environment. Something she's particularly suited to adapting to already.

Something she's particularly suited to adapting to already. Well, in the other alternate dimension with other aliens, the head alien read her thoughts. She felt it invasive, so adapted to be mind-read proof. So perhaps if she THINKS its something to be defended against, she can change. Not that Pete would do something so silly, anyway.

As the person who wound up making the latest Oasis theories thread in the spec forum, I think I can clear up some confusion here. When Oasis's brainwashing was introduced to us, Steve demonstrated that his watch not only forced her to follow any command, it caused her to rationalize those commanded actions as her own. Even being made directly aware that something was a command, she still generated a rationalization for why she followed it. So part of her brainwashing IS in fact to believe she's in control of her actions and act that way. Due to this, Oasis can only ever be innocent until she breaks free of her brainwashing, no matter how much of a jerk she is.

She's not really rationalizing any more, though. We saw in the last few weeks that she's well aware that any rationalizations she comes up with are false and self-lies. She's just resigned to it.
