I dunno, that superimposition of Pete's art style from 18 years ago over the current style isn't doing it for me...

(Okay, you know the end of the comic is fast approaching when Pete just casually reveals Daedalus' face after how many years?)
Hahahahaha. Oh man. I never thought I would feel bad for Dade Hereti.. I'm surprised he doesn't just flat out refuse his hour of sunlight. To paraphrase a boudoir photographer from the Simpsons, light is not his friend...

Makes sense. After all these years of wondering, we get a pig face.
His face matches the dun-dun-dun! moment, but he's just casually saying thanks. Pete's so weird sometimes.

That face does not belong there!
Also... When? How?! I consider myself relatively unflappable, but flap me.

For me it's more that my "model" for Steve is his appearance in Fire and Rain. While the Steve that Pete has referenced was being dramatic (no wiggly fingers), Dade seems pretty deadpan with his "thanks" so I don't expect his face to be particularly contorted. But I find it funny to imagine him saying the "thanks" in a dramatic way, so I guess it works!

Still, that's a twist I didn't see coming. How fun. Still confused as to why, what is essentially, a clone would want to dispose of his "father". I would work with my original copy. Talk about a backstabbing.
