I think maybe it's meant to come from the room in general, as in when you leave a room, you don't necessarily hear a voice from the location of the person in the room, but I agree that it's not as clear as it could be.

Man, Sluggy is just in prime form these past few weeks. Having trouble following the rationale for keeping Chen alive though. Schlock has all the pieces of the triangle except Oasis, and Chen's saying he can't help with that. The tracer/transponder is finished as I understand it (or am I wrong?). So his only use to Schlock seems to be that because he's not a Hereticorp employee, he can physically put the transponder on Oasis in the rebirth facility without risking his neck. But any non-Hereticorp employee could do that. So why keep Chen alive? Maybe I'm missing something...

Chen added that Oasis knows him from when she was a child - and seems to think that she would trust him (even though he remained at hC after the split??). hC employee or no, Oasis is not going to let just anyone come up to her and touch her, let alone put something on her...
