Yup, pretty much what I think most thought they were going to see for today.

*sobs grossly* Oh poor poor Riff. :(
And Sasha. She looks very dead and this feels very final. Even after she tried to shoot Riff in the face I never wanted this :( I always liked her (and loved her and Riff together) - you know up until the betrayal. I'm very sad. At least Riff got a goodbye kiss? *sob*
I've really liked how the last three comics have been drawn despite the very sad/murdery content, and how Pete chose to not use dialogue. Very powerful stuff.

"Um, she um, she fell down the stairs?"
This is really tragic for all three parties involved.

The hits are low, puncturing the liver. The blood in her mouth indicates a punctured lung. That's going to be the biggest threat, but it can be dealt with.
Good news is, she hasn't bled out much yet, and if proper first-aid and trauma care is applied, there's a pretty good chance she'll live, provided Riff and the gang can get her to a hospital in a reasonable amount of time.

What is Riff going to do now? And what are they going to do with the bodies? balthazar wrote: The hits are low, puncturing the liver. The blood in her mouth indicates a punctured lung. That's going to be the biggest threat, but it can be dealt with.

Unless Oasis ruptured Sasha's aorta through the midline stab wound, in which case nothing more can be done.

I would hazard that the Inferior Vena Cava would be more likely, but in either case there would be far more blood, even at this point. Also, while Oasis' knives are long enough to cause that kind of trauma on someone as thin as Sasha, the blood pattern on the knives would seem to indicate that the wounds aren't deep enough.

And I'm just wondering if Pete's artwork is medically correct enough that anything about the lethality of wounds can be inferred. I guess we will just have to wait and see...

This is usually one of those situations that called for an "I can explain!" but unfortunately for Oasis, Riff already knows the explanation...

Yikes! That's a powerful single image. NovemberMists wrote: I've really liked how the last three comics have been drawn despite the very sad/murdery content, and how Pete chose to not use dialogue. Very powerful stuff.

Riff probably doesn't care that Oasis can't control Override B-1. To him she's just a monster, same as Sam. Of course, what he doesn't seem to recognize is that the person she just killed is actually a monster too.
