WHY, PETE? WHY?
She had promised to stay good this time!

Wow. Powerful, Pete. Not entirely sure of Riff's intentions/motivations at this point... Silverwalker wrote: WHY, PETE? WHY? She had promised to stay good this time! She had shown herself repeatedly to be a remorseless psychopathic killer. Much as I loved her and will miss her, I don't think anybody could/should trust her at this point.

It's a sad situation and Riff is understandably thinking of happier days.

Her floaties will be missed. ...Until you bring her back to betray everyone, one last time. Right after sticking her tongue down Riff's throat. I'm not sure if that's spec, denial, or just simple cognitive dissonance. I guess we all grieve in our own different ways.

Ref 3 surprised me. I love the picture, but couldn't remember seeing it in comic.
We've been building to this (potential) out come for a couple of weeks now. I feel there's nothing to add that isn't spec.

I started reading right before dangerous days ahead. Sasha was central at that time. This is really heart breaking.
I think Riff is saying "Time to go" to Oasis rather than Sasha, but it occurs to me he may not mean it in the way I think.

As anticipated, Pete has taken down another character not tied to the main arc for the end. It went rather quickly with Sasha, but Pete is on a tight schedule. The question that comes up is..Who is next?

Since this is Pete we are talking about, I'll believe she is dead when...
Well, let's see, the possibilities of her coming back are rather large... (some more feasible than others.)
She could be "Oasis'd" back, a secret Vampire who reanimates later, zombified, a haunting spirit, a Demon, etc...
Death is only death when Pete wants it to be. The jury is still out on this one...

I didn't think today's comic could be worse than yesterdays. BUT IT IS. MY HEART. ;( Sluggy rarely makes me actually shed tears but today is one of those days. :(
