Or is it the dolphin absorbing yaks that are narcoleptic, enchanted, and seasick? Seems like an important distinction.

I see the ambulance in the background of the second panel.

Hey Izzy, Riff's available... You need a seasick dolphin that has been enchanted with narcolepsy to absorb walrus energy from yaks.

Ode to Sasha
A shot in the dark A laughter and spark Seduction was her game
Both killer and friend Who loved in the end Weird Sasha was her name
Now felled by a knife She paid with her life For sins of days gone by
We'll miss you weird girl You gave it a whirl Why did you have to die?

Oasis isn't at the drinking table with the others. Which makes sense as she didn't know Sasha at all (unless they were roomies at the hospital after Clone Aylee stabbed them). But it is also sad in that now Oasis has to grieve all alone about another kill.
Also: we have never seen Oasis get drunk.

Am I the only one going up the wall with the pacing? I've just realised this is Riff's 'Sam' sequence.

Kea wrote: I see the ambulance in the background of the second panel. Yup. The bad news is that Riff wouldn't have left Sasha's side if she still had a pulse. The really bad news is that trauma victims who have suffered cardiac arrest have a less than %10 chance of survival. The good news is that cutting edge medical science might be able to push that number up significantly using a new technique called E.P.R. Emergency Preservation and Resuscitation. Here is a nifty link explaining how it works. Basically when the patient flatlines, the doctors very quickly replace all the blood in the patient's body with chilled saline solution, inducing a state of profound hypothermia. This gives the surgeons time to work on the victim, up to several hours. When surgery is complete, and the damage repaired, the doctors flush out the saline with blood and warm the patient back up to normal temperature. If their heart fails to start beating on it's own, it is started using a mild electrical shock, and the patient is sent to recovery. Are we living in the future or what?

You gotta love in panel five the monocle over Riff's sunglasses.

I am surprised by the number of sluggites who assume that Oasis would ever deal a non-lethal stab wound at close range - at least against an enemy without the protection and fighting power of Nash
