Um....Riff knows that too much fluxing is bad, and he's doing it anyway?

Compared to fluxxing entire countries from orbit, I would say that timeless space can easily handle this.

Uh oh.
Has Riff ever heard the term "mutually assured destruction"?

Looks like we're either approaching the endgame here. Just for a laugh, I'll try to post whatever piece of music the day's strip brings to mind. Assuming of course that any piece of music comes to mind. And that I actually have a mind. For today: Mars, the Bringer of War

I never really got the weaponized DFA stuff anyway. I mean, sure, it'll do in a pinch, but there's gotta be plenty of stuff that would work just as well or better as a weapon. I suppose the nonlethality could be considered a bonus but Schlock doesn't have that clear a conscience concerning killing anyway and it always leaves the risk of an enemy that comes back somehow. Riff and Torg have certainly found their way back a lot and it didn't always require a return remote. There are advantages in being able to eliminate opponents with limited destruction, but again there's gotta be other things that can do that. It's certainly not the primary purpose/function of the device and it's kind of odd that Schlock has used it that way exclusively. I have to believe that Daedalus had something else in mind in going to such lengths to get a working DFA.... especially since they already had non-working versions that could kill people before Schlock came along.

Also, the fact that you can make a DFA flux an arbitrarily large area. Imagine being able to 'nuke' a whole town without harming any of the infrastructure or radiating the environment. Downsides: you lose your universe's protective sealing if you do it too much. But don't worry, Riff is a responsible mad scientist, I'm sure he won't do it too much!
Or the opposite of that. Let me check my notes

I hadn't expected this until someone spec'd it yesterday! Certainly effective, but seems like we are stepping closer to 4U city here... Lord Golbez wrote: Um....Riff knows that too much fluxing is bad, and he's doing it anyway? That was my thought at first, and it's still at the back of my mind, and I'm certain it's still at the back, or even front, of Riff's mind too. I know Riff's robot suit is bigger because it needs to look more badass and he's large and needs to fit inside.
...but those shoddie suits are way superior. Small suit, harder to flux. Same effect coming out of a smaller product.

In a flux war, given the nature of the technology, whoever strikes first wins.
It's a "push button to win" kind of game.
