Was Kusaris' Ninja costume always this thin?
Tught-fitting of cause, but you can't have many mm of cloth when body details are this visible

Honestly, having Chaz powered up doesn't make much difference if you can't land a hit. I'm not even sure if it makes a difference at all against opponents that aren't supernatural and can normally be killed by a regular sword. Maybe he can give Torg some tactical advice...

I don't recall ever seeing Kusari armed with throwing knives before; that's usually Oasis's thing.

Chaz makes Torg a better fighter even when he's not powered up -- he's basically a +5 sword of awesome, http://www.sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/040622 panel 3. The question is if Kusari can be killed by a non-magic sword. I assume so, since Oasis chopped her head off in Fire and Rain. And with hC hopefully just rubble in a deep hole, there might not be any "replacement" Kusaris.

I doubt the sword of the vampire who killed her was magical either. Also, Oasis can be killed by all sorts of nonmagical means that presumably apply to Kusari as well. It doesn't last permanently, but Torg doesn't need it to last permanently. Plus, in Kusari's case it seems like the revival isn't automatic.

What is going on with Kusari's weapon in the first two panels? Does she snap the blade down or does it do it by itself?

So either this is a full comic and done as a little cliffhanger for tomorrow

Or a halfway done comic and tomorrow will be a continuation of these nice poses

(I'm not trying to spec, I was trying to figure out why the comic ends abruptly with a neat pose)

Anyways, Pete's kinda pervy on the last panel there, with this highly detailed Kusari

highly

detailed

kusari

She looks cold.
