Wednesday is glad to see that Chilus is a master at hide 'n seek. She knows how to properly use her minions as sacrificial pawns. It would bring a tear to my eye. If I had eyes. (Unfortunately, the minions get easily confused about how it's played.) ---------- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Please remember to vote every day until the world ends.

Oh, Chilus. You got better than you deserved.
And dang... Gwynn is on a roll. I hope this continues well.

Yay Gwynn! FINALLY we got that slimy demon out of Meander.
Poor kid. She was, what, 10 or so when Chilus possessed her? I dunno how much time has passed in-comic, but it's been 18 years in "our" time. That would mess you up.
When Gwynn completes her collection, I hope she finds a VERY VERY VERY secure place to hide the Book. Don't give it to Kikizzid! Ozzid already showed he's not very good at the job.

There were obviously a few off-site baddies and mysteries, but I think that’s all the present big named baddies? Dead or trapped? Huzzah!

And Chilus is the only one who got spot color on her page in the book of Ughlee! Just a nice touch by the artist, or a devious hidden plot point by the author? Gwynn is sweating - is she getting tired? How much does it take out of you to imprison so many demons in such a short time? Waiting for Friday to see what the CLAOWS will do to this interloper! Fun fact. Meander was a cheerleader.
Save the cheerleader, save the world!
Well it's Gwynn's turn to save the world, this time.

Meander being an exception (I was reading that story and trying to link up chillus to the brain bugs). Cultists are not innocent as far as Chaz is concerned (see the end of the mohkadun storyline).

I misread the line at first and got a COMPLETELY different impression of Chilus's character. I thought it said "I will not let you kill meander". Missed the "I'll" in the middle. Wouldn't be the first time in fiction where a possessing demon genuinely wanted to protect its host. tube_rat wrote: Thom Solo wrote: Biscuit wrote: Didn't at least some of the cultists take in demons willingly? Cultists are not innocent as far as Chaz is concerned (see the end of the mohkadun storyline). I'm sure it depends. Chaz's definition of "innocent" is up in the air as it is, and I'm sure there are some cultists who are just confused, misinformed, taken advantage of, in with the wrong crowd etc. Or at least there would be if this were a serious work and not a comedy where all the villians and their mooks have to be unambiguously evil because questioning that could make things uncomfortable instead of funny. That's not intended as criticism, just observation.

I'm pretty sure Riff's dad, motivated though he was by the thought of protecting his son, would not light up the red Chaz-o-meter.

It seems like her booking is on time. Another page in her life has begun. She wanted to hide, and she is finally behind cover.
