I thought he just wanted to be Torg's best friend instead of Riff, but the Sampire had a Samplan, yo.
Where is Riff anyway?

Gwynn doesn't seem to think their trip to Borkea set enough of a precedent to consider Torg will rescue her no matter what.

In panel 2, should it not be Torg who says the following (emphasis mine)? Quote: So this 'lady' has a "magic mirror" that makes me forget but not you? As it's Torg who's forgetting, not Sam, who's only faking it.

I had some trouble figuring out the second panel. I think Declinator is right: That was probably supposed to be Torg's line. If it really should be Sam's, then "me" and "you" are swapped and it should be a statement instead of a question.
I'm wondering what it was that Sam misheard as "mushroom, dried".

I'm wondering what it was that Sam misheard as "mushroom, dried". Dryad probably. I can't believe sam managed to competently pretend to be anything, even incompetent, for even a few strips. I was convinced he was an imposter.

I'm thinking the same thing.

This is a set up by Gwynn?
I'm disappointed. I was hoping it was a setup by the Bug. Confuse our heroes and put them in an unfamiliar battle ground where they have no idea what's going on - something that's a danger to all of creation.
This is an anti-climax in comparison to what I thought was going on.

I'm as confused as Torg JoshS wrote: This is a set up by Gwynn? . It seems that rather than a set up, it was a mutually agreed upon plan. Now, the question is Why?

I concur with everyone else. Panel 2 seems to have the word bubbles be kinda off. Unless spec spec spec
Remember when Torg lied to Crushestro and said Monicruel was in danger to get him to act quickly but in reality she was just chilling? Gwynn does (maybe Torg bragged about it to her) and Torg doesn't (but like, double doesn't remember). Messed up but valid indeed.

Seems straightforward to me. Off camera ('strip'?) the team became aware of a threat that wiped memories, came up with a "plan" that involved Torg and Gwynn trying to fix it, and brought Sam along for vampiry stuff.
Also seems the original plan was Torg and Sam as bait while Gwynn fixed things, but now Gwynn is invoking plan B, convince Torg that Zoe is in danger so he has motivation.
Enjoying the lighter story and wondering what we'll find at the end!
