Marco takes one look at Gwynn's spellbook and rapidly decides to go back outside. Where it's safer.

Marco is already dead.
This will be revealed when they go down to tell Torg.

I toyed with that idea. Wasn't quite bold enough to make the proclamation, though. Marco fits the pattern better -- but who knows?

She was in a car crash earlier, though, so if Pete goes for a Gwynn's dead reveal, he has the perfect place to have it happen.

True, but she doesn't have a mark on her -- and the whole point of teleporting seemed (at least on the surface) to avoid the crash. Besides, the seed has to be planted to grow. I don't think you can just show up and become infected without some sort of obvious even taking place (even if you don't remember it).

Hmmm.....
Pete.
Gwynn.
I've heard these names together. It's been almost 40 years, but there's something about those two names being together that just - - - -
The Bad Thing may not happen now, or even soon. But it will happen.
Especially if Gerry Conway ever gets a Guest Week on Sluggy.

I meant she's been in a car crash since arriving in the woods where the dead come back to life. We know she can't have been dead ever since the K'Z'K possession, since she could walk in and out of Kesandru house at will.

I don't know.. she was alone with Marcos for quite some time, and perhaps a seed got implanted.

I'm pretty sure you have to be dead first. Otherwise the bishop wouldn't have dragged Elza away.

Marco is dead, but still innocent, and still has blood. Chaz gets powered up.
