I'm in. Maybe we can network and see if we can pull in some of the other lost Sluggites too...

Hmm. Sounds like fun. I may, or may not be in, since I'm also in another long-running reading binge, but a crawl through sluggy memory lane is very much worthwhile and needed at this point.

I'm up for this... even though I'm not only caught up, but have recently re-read through Book 8 in print form. :)

Excellent idea, Sor!

Aw, shucks Thom! But I can't hardly take the credit --there's a thread in GChat that put me onto the idea.

Ohmygosh guys, less than one week left! Can't wait! *squee!*

Whoops! I just remembered this is a thing. I guess I have one day to read Chapter one. Now where did I put that pesky Megatome.

I just had a minor suggestion regarding the format of our discussion. Instead of maybe one thread per chapter, we just use the same thread until we hit page ten. (A mod could easily merge our two current threads.) Then just edit the thread title as we progress through until the end at which point the title becomes Chapter 1-X.

I just worry that the thread per chapter format will strangle SRC's front page and choke out other discussion.

What do the rest of you think? Particularly Sorceress as it was their idea.

Announcing my joining in the catch-up/re-read! Also, are we discussing the readings here or elsewhere?

Let it be declared! Unless there's a mod willing to combine all our original threads (please?) I will go start one more thread, to be chapters 5+.

(The other alternative is to start one thread per book, which will still be a lot of threads, but will hopefully be a lot less fast-moving than the rest.)

I would like to maintain the 10-page limit, instead of asking the mods for an endless post. I feel the conversation will be a little more accessible if people can join late by reading comics up to the point we're at, and then entering only the newest thread, rather than going through hundreds of posts on older chapters.
