Tax free weekend starts tomorrow and I don't have money to spend at my new favorite store on clothes that I otherwise would never be able to afford -_-

Every year the August meteor shower occurs on or around my birthday, and every year I completely forget to go outside and see what the big deal is >.<

I was all excited then realised I'd got the dates wrong and just missed it.

It was cloudy here. I believe I complained on the last page about the clouds.

Stupid clouds. I MADE COFFEE IN A THERMOS!

Our bedroom DVD player broke. I can't fall asleep to silence anymore. Therefore, I have reached into the technological graveyard and we are reduced to watching *shudders* VIDEOTAPES. And we only have like eight movies still on VHS. :(

I got all excited about watching the meteor shower, then remembered that I live in the middle of a densely populated, light-polluted city, where you're lucky if you can make out the north star.

My phone company/ISP is charging me what amounts to an "already our customer" $25/month fee.

And I'm not sure the economics of switching to their competitor make it worth fighting.

Balthazar, have you, by any chance, been reading the Prince Roger books lately?

I read them a while back and have them near to hand on my bookshelf, except, unfortunately, We Few, which I seem to have misplaced somewhere. Why?

You're "Modder Pocking" made me think of a certain armorer. Oh and btw, I'll get to see John Ringo in less than two weeks.

Ah yes. Ringo seems to be fond of armorers who use that particular term, as found in his Vorpal Blade series. And Blage
has become a household word at my current place of residence.

Ah yes, Fabled Dragon*Con. How I wish I could attend and bask in it's storied shenanigans, instead of stuck with our overly too well regulated and corporatized Entertainment Expo. Although this may just be a case of the grass being greener.....

Tell Jenny Breeden I say hello if you happen to bump into her.

Does she know you by that name? Or is this like me telling someone to tell Felicia Day hello for me (I've met her once and was instantly turned into a blithering idiot).
