Hey, guys, anyone have any experience with poking around for a therapist? Seriously, I'm sort of unsure what the hell to do...

Additional to what inspy said:

Is there some therapist organisation, where you are? Similiar to the AMA or a subgroup of it. They likely will not tell you which therapist is good, but they likely can advise you, which type of therapy fits best to the reason you want therapy and can provide you with large lists of therapists.

Arrow trap is firing at a sharp 35 degree angle to the right for some unfathomable reason...

I got motion sick from playing Minecraft and have been feeling queasy all day. How lame is that? But it's so addictive, I can't stop playing!

Hm. I don't think that was motion sickness. It's two days later and I'm inexplicably dizzy again. I'm swaying from side to side like a drunken sailor. I probably caught something weird.

You getting headaches targetted on one or the other side of your head?

If so, I'm thinking inner ear infection. Your symptoms sound familiar, and I had a bad one years ago that I took too long to treat because I had no idea what the dizziness was all about. Still dealing with the damaged ear and sinuses today.

I remember when I played Portal on the train, I got dizzy. Then I got sick. I suspect that motion sickness can set you off, somehow, weakining or triggering or something.

This sounds like an inner-ear infection to me, too. It's probably a good idea to go see your doctor about it.

I had a mild headache last night, but I slept it off. No pain in the ear or anything. Apparently if I had middle ear trouble, the room would be spinning, but it isn't. I just feel off-balance, like being drunk, only I'm stone cold sober. My dad just gave me some motion sickness pills which did nothing but make me sleepy.

Feeling a bit better this morning, but still mildly floaty.

I'm no doctor, but that sounds a lot like BPPV. I had something similar a couple of years ago and it was not fun.

I had that a few years ago, it's never gone away. It doesn't quite sound like what Kea's describing.

My wife had something similar recently. She thought it might be an infection. Turns out some ear wax had worked down deep (probably caused by pressure due to flying but not necessarily) it was making her dizzy and nauseous.
