Am I snorting crack or did there used to be a post here by someone saying Thyla is alive and well and still friendly with the Sluggy staff? I was going to say how happy I was to hear that, but the post has completely disappeared, which really makes the whole thing seem like a C-O-N-spiracy*

As far as the word replacements, there are others. In addition to certain cusswords, I think Cid changes to something --that's C - I - D in case it's still operational. And of course, anytime you try to type --well, you-know-what!--, it changes to "Kahzmick Rulez!" I can't believe they never got rid of that one.

well while this doesn't disprove your alleged crack usage I do remember seeing that post as well.

Kind of makes me miss the kind of forums where each post is numbered so you can see when one gets deleted.

I think I remember something of the sort as well... perhaps Kiki hid that post behind the couch, under the impression that we wouldn't miss it?

Still, there is one tried and tested and occasionally even successful method of locating someone that it seems no-one has tried yet.

there was a streak of spammers that used to put a thread up with the title of any of a number of female celebs (I.E. The drunk rich girl, the drunk singer with the messed up father, oh, and the one with the fantastic lips.) "naked on the beach" or something like that, with a link.

So With some creative word replacements, WileE turned them all into Lindsay Lohan \\ paris hilton \\ angelina jolie and then word replaced the links inside the posts with bad URLs.

For the record the three most used and therefore replaced names are:
Paris Hilton
Lindsay Lohan
Angelina Jolie

and there are others, Try to find them all. :)
