Hey! Page 10. Somebody had to advance the page, might as well be me! Maybe we shouldn't tell the mods. Who knows when we'll get another RS thread..
(Happy boardiversary to me!)
The thing about our anniversaries is that, based on what time you joined, you may have a different anniversary depending on if you're logged in or not. I live on the west coast which is Sluggy Standard Time - 3 but I joined at or around 9:00 my time which is midnight sst so therefore when logged out the board will tell me my anniversary is the 26th.
And now you know. And knowing is half the battle.

Well, it's time for me to be serious again. Or rather, as serious as I get about a silly topic. You see, the 10 page model is not working for this forum anymore. There's just not enough WGARS traffic to sustain it. So it is with a heavy heart that I...I.... no, I will be strong. I think it is time to have one stickied random silliness thread again.
For one thing, it would be easier on the moderators. They no longer would have to worry about the rabble (Hi!) complaining about how there hasn't been a random silliness thread in FOREEEEEEEEEEEEVER.
This one is over. It is on page 10. Stickies do not follow the 10 page rule. It would be a Random Silliness thread in perpetuity.
However, a stickied random silliness thread does have it's drawbacks. One word posts, empty posts, etc. etc. Yet these are actually outlawed by the WGARS conventions. So these posts would be subject to moderator action which is more work for the moderators. Wait what? Dang, I've argued against myself.
Ignore that last paragraph. I suppose we could have a poll, but everybody knows that democracy is for losers. I would like binding arbitration from the moderators!
In conclusion, Sticky, please. Not this thread, though. A new one.

I find it highly unlikely anyone ever called him a "Space Cowboy."
Uh Greg? That's the closet...

I just started a new page with each of my last 3 posts (not counting this one) and now I feel a bit strange. Thanks for listening! Also, apologies for the double post.

We should give you an award -- but what should it be? and why? Quote: I find it highly unlikely anyone ever called him a "Space Cowboy." That doesn't seem so farfetched. "Gangster of love," on the other hand...

Many rulers the arcane diplomat wrenched upstairs downstairs under the closet beware the lion over the rainbow behind the door. Blue moon the cabbage sailors danced under the broccoli sky.
...what? It said random silliness, did it not?
