Does anyone even care about the whole Oceans Unmoving story arc anymore? Seriously, the whole point of it, as far as I could tell, was to get Bun Bun home, and that aspect of the story was handled with a really half assed Deus Ex Machina.
So now that Bun Bun is actually back, I want to know, does anyone else really care what happens to Calix and Kada. I mean sure, they're sympathetic characters. Problem is, they are not Torg, or Riff, or Zoe, or Gwynn, or Kiki, or Sam, or Sasha, or Alyee or any other main character. Therefore, for my point of view, this tedious story line is doing nothing more than distract the rest of us from the main characters, who already have tons of story and potential to go through before we can turn our gazes else where.

I enjoy this arc, the setting is really neat.

I care. I recall when bun-bun first arrived home in the cereal box, thinking to myself that I really hoped that Pete wouldn't just leave Kada, Calix and the grey's fates unkonwn.

I, too, want to see how this all pans out. This has been going on far too long to just leave it.

Also, I don't think Bun Bun's return was a half-assed deus ex machina.

I want to see where (and when) Kada and Calix end up. I think Pete has more in mind than just sending them home.

Not shore I just want it to end in a few days, but I want to know how it really ends.

We've made the commitment; now we must follow through.
A loose end of this magnitude just would not do.
(Hey! A couplet!)

*raises-hand*
BEST storyline EVER!
well, at least the one with the 'deepest' background.. *wink*
seriously, the only other storyline that had me gnawing my fingernails
like this so far was TWR I+II. I'm TOTALLY into those long storyarcs
and IMHO pete's ability to come up with amazing plots outweights
the - sad and true - fact, that, yes, i DO miss torg and the gang.

Me! Me!
This storyline has had its problems, but it's moving nicely now. And I really do want to find out how things will work out for Calix and Kada. They are (IMO) the main characters of this story, not Bun Bun.

I'm afraid I have to agree with the hand-raisers, dude. But I was generally digging Oceans Unmoving in the first place, so...

I like this story and I want to see how it ends. I do want to get back to the gang, but just leaving this open dosn't seem like Pete's style.

I dunno, man. I was mostly reading this for the Bun master, but I liked the Caribs too. Now all we get is face time with Claix and Kada and very little with BA. Noga is the only thing that keeps me reading, seeing as I'm one of only like, two people who don't want to kill her.
I like oceans unmoving, but I don't like Calix and Kada, and the romantic tension seems a bit slapped on.

Otherwise, pete wouldn't have even put any emphisise on Calix and Kada in the first place, and it would have just focused on bun bun getting home (a storyline that probably would have only taken about 3 months)
No, there is something up about Calix Kada and Riff's Aparatus (mentioned in 1 sluggy freelance comic prior to OU, and mentioned twice during living conditions)
