Yes, but the trial is no longer limited to 14-days. It's now unlimited time.

That sounds appealing, actually. Play for free, and the maximum level doesn't take so long to reach.

I asked Pete to mention the lvl 20 thing in case there was anyone who didn't currently play but maybe had in the past, who wanted to make a free account just to hang out with us. We had a dance party Tues and Sluggy trivia tonight, and might do more assorted birthday activities over the rest of the week. And it's a good group of people to chat with anytime.

I got back today, after 15 hours of travel (and 3 1/2 days late. Not as late as could have been, though). Miraculously our street and power grid were untouched. Flying over Jersey there were some pretty serious flooded pockets of land. I saw a dang mall flooded out! Crazy. Hope the lack of electricity is all you guys had Pete! Even though I know that BLOWS, especially for so long (the 4th?? Dang!). We'll be waiting patiently; you do what you gotta do! (PS hope your brother in law was able to at least begin the process of getting out of Orlando now that the airports are reopened).

Niice... I may actually need to acquire a replacement Book 7, Sluggy-evangelism sometimes leads to losing one of my sacred Tomes. :( Glad to hear they are hitting the press again.

Also apparently the loss of Reaction-Count has been noticed by Pete. Shall try to show up a little more often again, though its been a crazy few months. I always like lurking Sluggy 'round the holidays. :)

I am in favor of cut-out Holiday Wars paper toys, but only if we get Basphomy, the Pumpkinheaded King, Santa, and two versions of Bun Bun, and maybe some turkeys and...

You know, I sort of want to act out Holiday Wars on my desk at work, just to see how many of my coworkers get it.

Okay, I just hope we get the orange and black Bun Bun, who looked slightly cooler than the final form of Holiday Overlord Bun Bun.

I have been enjoying the plot all in all. Some days the humor's better than others... and I know from past experience sometimes these stories take a good re-read to really catch the pace of the jokes perfectly. But appreciate Pete's desire to have a bit more time for high-quality scripting. I'm all for fun sideplots and not rushing sluggy's end anytime soon. :)

Yay, I can't wait until the That Which Redeems Books! Those'll be my favorites just a little behind Oceans Unmoving (when they finally come out). Keep up the good work Pete, I'm pretty happy with the current storyline, though I'll be even happier when the plot picks up (or I get some more 4U City meds). And when book 12 is finally announced I'll be the first one to buy it.
