Also, I believe it was mentioned back towards the start of the game that supers participating in the military was considered a war crime by the Geneva Convention.

I don't remember saying that. Supers were still legendary when Geneva was signed, so there's no possible way it's part of Geneva. The US isn't allowed to track supers anyway, so how could they possibly bar them from military service?

In the cast that the nearest teacher is in fact a Ma'am instead of a Sir, Al will preface his question appropriately.

I just realised how dangerous colloquial language can be in this setting. I want to clarify that the pretty girl talking to Martín has bronze skin in the meaning of "tanned South American", not in the meaning of "made of metal".

I assumed the latter, not the former. Good clarification.

Why did I think that? I could have sworn it was brought up at some point in one of the previous threads, but I guess not since I can't find it.

Oh well, I fail at history anyway.

Adam was barred from participating in High School Athletics because of his super powers. Maybe you just extrapolated.

Supers are also barred from most professional sports, but that's a private enterprise anyway. There is a professional Save the Citizen league.

In other news, I'm still laughing at Jimmy's "eat a million dicks", because that's exactly what a high school kid would text.

Though I suspect Skitz knows this from direct, first-hand experience.

Oooh, thanks for the clarification. I had entirely the wrong idea there.

I think it was because she was talking to the guy with the stone face; the narrative proximity of the two encouraged the idea of taking it literally.

In my experience "eat a million dicks" is exactly the kind of thing that a twenty-six year old college graduate would text someone. I draw more ascii dongs now that I have any time since I stopped frequenting Battle.net when Brood War went out or vogue.

I'm glad my dicks make you laugh.

In retrospect, you may be remembering my short-lived Villains game. I went with a more "those WWII comics were canonical" approach, as opposed to FB's "children of the Atom" one.

It's sad that you've grown to enjoy people laughing at your dicks, Skitzo.

I am now also grateful that I don't have a cell phone, so Skitz can't text me dongs.
