If Jimmy really is getting two powers then doesn't that mean he's the protagonist?

He is in MY mind.

That makes it sound like Jimmy wasn't already the protagonist.

Martín has had, like, three or four powers since he was created, technically. So neener.

Well so have most of us I think. Jimmy's flight is one power, but his extra-atmospheric flight is several powers.

I guess I'll go ahead and spoil the surprise for everyone, since the rule will come into play next time you spend points anyway: Jimmy's just the first to get dual powers. You'll all be allowed to branch out your powers by the end of the year.

Don't worry; lots of characters probably won't bother with dual powers. Martín and the Speedsters, for instance, are already spending small fortunes on their single powers.

Also, no current character has a good justification for a powerset as diverse as the stereotypical flying brick.

Even Jimmy is atypical of a flying brick, in that he only has the flight and the brick-ness. Usually a flying brick has some other (usually thematic) powers to set them apart from all the other flying bricks.

In explanation, I really wanted to be a flying brick ala Invincible from book of same name, and I thought up Jimmy's background before seeing Sky High. FB said I could do it in the first game and the Fortress-similarity and the resentment of people expecting him to also have two powers became part of Jimmy's character once I'd seen Sky High.

Actually given the nature of gary's powers I think i know one additional power which could be fit in...

You're right, Gary could do it if he wanted to be a jerk.

Invulnerability?

Hmmmm... Al's already got the swiss army knife of powers. I don't think he needs another one. (Though stretching, like Rubber, might fit thematically; or some sort of short-range extra-sensory perception that he can use if he takes on a non-living shape.)

Either way, I've got time to think about it.

I'm thinking of having Adam take on some manner of Telekinesis. It might work thematically if I say it works as an extension of his shield, but if so it might have to be extremely short range when he first receives it. Power: Telekinesis. Flaw: Short Range. Would that work?

No, probably not.

I think you're looking for a way to do more damage, though, so might I suggest the "Strike" power? That would be a pretty natural extension of the shield.
