Dictionary.com has it pronounced with the 'h'. An informal check with Google: 291k for 'a herbivore' ; 111k for 'an herbivore'.Badvok wrote:Today's filler - 25 Nov 2011. I know you Americans drop the 'h' from herb and therefore you use 'an herb' whereas we English don't and for us it is 'a herb'. But does this also apply to herbivore?
