I fell asleep in an awkward position last night. Halfway through the night I tried to roll over, but due to the way I was positioned the only thing I ended up doing was squishing both of my testicles together. I still have no idea how I did that.

But I hate that the change in our routine has our daughter acting like a little poop again after we had just gotten her acting a little less horribly monstrous. *sigh* Things'll settle down eventually, right?

Also, I need a hair cut, but I have this weird rash on my scalp. I hate it when my hair gets this long, especially when it's starting to warm up down here.

Pretty sure everyone has heard about the round of tornadoes that blew through DFW and all but leveled two cities. In the middle of it all, I turned on the radio and a Red Cross ad comes on asking for donations. Okay, I get preparing, but asking in the area being affected while everything is still going to hell in a hand basket is in pretty poor taste. Mentioning shelters could have saved it, but it was just a "we need money to help you out of this disaster so give us your money."

I solved that problem years ago. I stopped purchasing anything from them.

My dance-fu has been weak since Saturday. I'm supposed to be going to my first proper Lindy hop social dance tomorrow (as opposed to social dancing following a lesson); I hope it recovers by then.

bit late to the party on this forum, but I just read the blog that Pete posted about Mass Effect 3.
And yeah the Ending is a bit of annoyance to me.

Also the fact that Gamestop doesn't open till Ten.....I WANT MY XENOBLADE DANG IT
(and the fact my sleep schedule is out of wack right now since I work nights)

Ooh, lindy hop is fun. My wife and I used to dance all the time in the years B.K. ("Before Kids")

I have to be the Easter Bunny at work today. Eight hours in a hot, itchy bunny suit that is going to scare the crap out of some small children. Seriously, the head is creepy. See what I mean?

I complain about waking up to a dose of cat-in-the-face, but with my cat away it's suddenly really really hard to get up in the morning.

The @$&*@ Radiant team at work. They've been a thorn in my side for months, but I was recently called a Liar by the team's director at a director's meeting which I did not attend. I've been running around trying to get permission to use sourced info from those sources in a new Radiant manual, and it's been like pulling teeth to get responses. Finally got two out of the three, but one source had an online form that received no response save a "don't call us, we'll call you" kickback message giving them about a month to respond to me. My director told the Radiant director that it was time for them to start knocking on doors, since they were the ones who wanted the info, and I was getting nowhere. The manager below the Radiant director filled out the SAME FORM, received the SAME MESSAGE and then told the director that I must never have tried to seek permission, since he received the kickback email so quickly and I "claim to have received nothing."

That's when the Radiant director called me out in a meeting that I knew nothing about. They've been extremely demanding about their tech docs up to this point (mostly with regards to the swiftness of their production), but now I'm pretty sure the Radiant director wants my head. Thank god I have a good relationship with the other directors. And I'm praying the manager never gets a response, because if he does, I'm dead in the water.

I haven't been this stressed at my job since I worked at that hellish pizza joint that no longer exists.
