Daily Strip: April 30, 2012

Postby Zillatain » Sun Apr 29, 2012 11:40 pm

Monday is not sure why the weekend tried again, but nobody -once again- figured out what the codes were for.

Well, I guess they shouldn't be all that surprised since the codes requires someone from the correct area and to also exactly recognize what they are. Being a string of random seeming numbers and letters is probably asking too much. Those could relate to too many things.

Maybe they'll put out some clues next time.

You know, Torg's plan actually makes sense, as strategy.

RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!!!!!!!!

PS: That is not speculation, it's a reaction to the world ending because Torg's plan actually makes sense...

Don't you just love it when Riff gives that little itty bitty inconsequential bit of info that would have been nice to know when planning the 'perfect plan'?

An orbital DFA? I'm not sure why my friends should worry about that little ole thing.

Yes, that makes things easier. Just have to flux the the entire hill with people on it instead of tracking down individuals.

Fortunatly, once you know which one it is, a satellite is easy enough to trash.

Unfortunately this one is designed specifically to remove threats. Getting anything close enough to trash it may be a problem.

4UCity has shown that an Orbital DFA is very effective.

There are ways. Loft a bunch of little somethings that move fast from the far side of the planet, and catch it from above. Most orbital weapons are designed to point down, and satellites in general usualy take awhile to reposition.

Just wanted to say that I really appreciate these occasional "here's how everything stands now" strips, even more than recaps.

All that sum-up, and not a single reference link?

If the idea with reference links are to help newbies, I think they would appreciate to know what a DFA is in the first place. :riff:

Well, it is canonically confirmed as being a top end threat to human life and the stability of the universe itself in a way never seen before. Even the vowelless one only promises hell on earth.

Smart call, Riff.

Agreed. It's starting to look like things are coming together.

Keep it up, Pete. Sprinkle in a little more action soon, because I'm all in with you right now.
