Did you know that if you take a Thursday, cover it in batter, then deep fry it, that you'll only be charged with manslaughter, and improper handling of a corpse?

Who would have guessed.

So everything we've recently been waiting for will go down in the next six hours narrated time.

I wonder how many weeks that is going to be in our time... and will my nails survive that?

Aww, Zoë looks so innocent in panel 6 before Torg bursts her bubble.

Ahhh, Zoe is so happy and very well drawn in panel 2.

But panel 5 looks kinda familiar for some reason.

Aw, the things Torg says for love. (Praising the "food", not "NO").

Has Zoe been established as a nightmare cook, or are they just running extremely low on foodstuffs?

I think all they have to eat are swedish meatballs. I'm guessing that'd wear thin after a while.

This is how I imagine mornings at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Torg to be.

It's unclear what the food situation is. They apparently have coffee, popsicles and Swedish fish. Zoe browsing a meatball cookbook implies that they have access to meatballs. It's also unclear what Riff wanted when Zoe was brushing ZHOAS hair with pain thinner. Is Riff to busy to cook, making Zoe the designated oven-jockey?

Anyhow, Crushy seems easy to please. He must be making a lot of... oh, silly me, I forgot that Torg made arrangements to get him back together with Monicruel.
That'll do it.

Poor Zoe. She just needs to learn the secret of cooking is all.

I didn't know about Swedish Fish, so it made me think of this. I'm not sure whether that would be better or worse (for Torg's standards of taste, that is)

You still have nails? Most everyone on here who bites their nails when nervous lacks hands by now and some have chewed all the way up to their shoulders.

Too bad the Minion Master isn't there to share the axiom.

Look at the look on Riff's face after he's taken a bite out of that popsicle. Take a look at the previous panel.... Just sayin'...

I love Swedish Fish! I used to save up my pennies when I was small to get some from the little general store on the corner just outside of our development (which was very new at the time, Country Lakes, NJ, an offshoot of Browns Mills).

But combining them with seafood... *vomits in mouth a bit*

Now I can't eat Swedish Fish anymore without thinking about this. Pete, you have scarred the memories of my youth. I hope you're happy with yourself!

...

You probably are, aren't you? :kzk:
