I drew queso a birthday thing once. 17 is an ok birthday, I guess. It isn't as iconic as 116 (for whatever reason 16 hold so much import) or have the 'you're an adult now, only not really' status like 18 has. Really the only important birthday for me has been 21. 18 only means cigarettes and pr0n are legal, and I don't smoke and well, this is the internet. 21 however. Thats the biggie. That's when the rampant alcoholism became socially acceptable and publically legal.

I had my 17th last year (golden also) ummm... wait... 13 months ago (stupid December birthdays and year changes... grr.) and it really wasn't any different from being 18. I just shave about twice as often now.
