Okay, let's get a head start on this party!

*sets out some pixie stix and jello shooters*

Posting this party in Reactions so Pete can enjoy it too, just remember, no speculating! General craziness and/or anniversary thoughts are welcome.

Oh, good; just in time to set out the Pete trap. OK, boys; bring in the Drugged Pizza of Niftiness...what? Oh. Put it by the LAN consoles; I here Petes like those. Thanks.

Now to sit back and innocently read some comics while I wait. I hear Sluggy Freelance is good...

If I had better knowledge in 3-D animation, I'd make a short kiki-mation for the event.

Oh well.

I've been reading through the archives again. It's a dangerous thing to start because you don't get anything else accomplished. Curse* you Pete and your nifty comic!

*Curse you with lots of alcohol, puns and many more years of Sluggy.

But I want him to keep drawing Sluggy. How can he do that if he's extremely distracted or if his wife does him great bodily harm?

You have a curse like that?

How do you focus it upon yourself?

Since when are curses a good thing? Bah, they be blessings, I say!

I can't believe Sluggy is almost 10 years old...Wish I'd been there from the beginning. Alas, it's only been a year and a halfish for me...but what an eventful year and a half it's been.

Aaah. Sluggy memories... Like the I-Con where Pete and I kept missing each other... wasn't intentional or anything, just when i went to the booth he was at a panel, and when i was at a panel, he was at his booth. Met Thyla though.

/wave Thyla!

I'll have to track him down at an Ubercon eventually.

Woohoo!

*Adds general celebrations to the party because I am really uncreative*

I've been here (on the forums and with Sluggy) for a bit. Not too long, though. Biggest influence on my life (from Sluggy) has been POOP.

Congratulations on 10 years of sluggy! and may there be at least 10 more.
(no Pete, you're not allowed to retire...ever)

for the 10th Anniversary of this Nifty comic, I will share these thoughts on Sluggy:

Sluggy Freelance using the twin barrels of outrages plot lines and over the top gags, is actually a subtle commentary on the world around us.
And as we all know, :bert: THE WORLD IS A CROTCH!
Therefore; this means Sluggy Freelance is clearly...
:bert: A COMMENTARY ON A CROTCH!

[wait...did I just use "sluggy freelance" and "subtle" in the same context without the word "isn't" between them?... forget everything I said... I must be drunk already]

We must all be here tomorrow (er, actually, the day after tomorrow for most of us - I'm posting this assuming it's "Thursday" already) night to TOAST as The Great And Powerful Pete has suggested (i.e. - ordered).

I, myself, will be introducing myself to a cocktail my co-worker, the Master Scheduler (imbue that title with as much ominous taint as you can imagine, if you don't work in manufacturing - if you do, such imbuement will be unnecessary, as you already know far too well the Evil that is The Master Scheduler - yet I digress... again.)

Anywho, he is fond of a mix of vodka (brand of your choice, but better brands leave less hangovers) and - get this - LEMONADE. Specifically, Pink Lemonade.

This may be something vodka drinkers are long aware of, but I've never heard of the like. So, I'm gonna try it tomorrow night (it being Friday and all).

Question is, what "free" photo service do we post all our photos of our Sluggy Toastings to? :torg: And do we attempt to show them here, gobbing down many bytes of bandwidth on the forum - or maybe just post links?

Mr. "Thinkin' ahead... that's a planner's job..." Jest

To Quote Kiki "It not a party till someone gets hammered" :kiki:

I'll bring a VERY big hammer is someone brings the MC Hammer CD's ( I think everyone else has the alcohol covered.)

And there had better be Lambada Dancing Topless Chereleaders there, or the guy with the big hammer will be very pissed off
